Wallace Lane Farm is situated high in the magnificent Northern lakes, on the fringe of the Lake District National Park, close to the villages of Caldbeck, Hesket Newmarket and Uldale.

Offering three holiday cottages, guests can choose between: Wood Pecker Cottage and Nuthatch Cottage sleep up to four guests, and Farmhouse Cottage that sleeps up to two guests.

Woodpecker cottage is a traditional, stone-built Cumbrian cottage that retains its original character. The cottage has centrally heating (biomass), and compromises a lounge, fully-fitted dining kitchen, one large double bedroom on the first floor and a second bedroom on the ground floor, and a large four-piece bathroom with  shower. It also has a hot tub and a small private garden area with views.

Nuthatch Cottage is a detached holiday cottage with private garden, patio and hot tub. Its wooden bridge leads over the stream providing open access to the fields and woods. With a westerly aspect providing many stunning sun sets. Accommodation comprises lounge with wood burning stove and patio doors to rear garden/patio with hot tub. A double and a twin bedroom both have en-suite shower rooms. The beautiful dining-kitchen is fully equipped with access to the rear patio, utility room

Lastly Farmhouse Cottage is a delightful 1-bedroom cottage, ideal for couples. It is in part of the original farm house dating back to the 1700’s, fully refurbished in the last ten years it has a modern open plan feel retaining all the character of the original building. With a wood burning fire, the cottage is warm and cosy. To the rear of the property is an enclosed private garden with a stream running through it. There is also a patio area, small lawn, and a pond. It also boasts a private hot tub with one of the best views in Cumbria.
