The Toll House

The Toll House (‘Tolldy’ in Welsh) , Offers luxury Self Catering accommodation  sleeps five people and is located in the heart of Dolgellau, Snowdonia. Within driving distance to climb Snowdon, visit Portmeirion and even partake in white water rafting.

The 18th century stone house has been carefully restored, now offering a luxurious holiday cottage. Downstairs, there is underfloor heating to keep your feet cosy after a long day exploring. All rooms have their own quirky features, such as an original 4ft long bath!  It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind with a loved one, family or friends in one of Snowdonia’s quaint villages.

​Dolgellau, is a former slate town which sits beneath mount Cadair Idris (The Giant Idris’ chair) has more listed buildings than any other town in Wales. Some of the most elegant date back to Dolgellau’s time as a regional centre for the Welsh woollen industry.  It is Now a haven for walkers and climbers.

The Toll House is only a short stroll away from the surrounding traditional pubs, cafes, restaurants and independent shops, it is a captivating place to explore and get utterly lost in its fascinating history.
