Situated on an acre of secluded rewilded pasture, on the edge of a farming village just 8 miles from Glastonbury. With an outdoor fire pit, lovely compost toilet and amazing night skies, guests can enjoy a break detoxing from modern life, and enjoy a back to basics feel.
Guests have the entire secluded one acre site to themselves. It is enclosed by mature hedging and trees and feels very wild and natural. The yurt itself is tucked at the bottom of the gently sloping wildlfower meadow which is managed for wildlife. Alongside it is a small mixed orchard and native coppice. If the trees are fruiting guests are welcome to plenty of apples and plums in autumn as well as blackberries and sloes.
There is also an outside firepit with seats, benches and picnic table.
The nearby village if Pitney has plenty of amenities, including pub, Â farm shop and cafe offering take away.
The nearest town of Langport offers some interesting shops, cafes, River Parrat boat/bike/stand up board/kayak hire.
There are great views across the Somerset levels on walks around the yurt, and nearby RSPB reserves and Avalon Marsh Centre.
Glastonbury has many tourist attractions including the Abbey, Tor, Challice Well and White Temple Springs as well as a myriad of unusal shops and cafes .
