The Dog & Gun Inn, located in the heart of the Salisbury Plain, is a great country pub with its own unique twist.

Well known for their warm welcome, cosy surroundings, and great food. The Inn has been comprehensively restored and rebuilt in recent years, this historic coaching inn reverberates with the sound of happy pub goers, diners and overnighters, oozing atmosphere with its woodburning stoves, fairy lights, exposed brickwork and flagstone floors.

With five boutique bedrooms, each offering its own unique feel and style combining both contemporary and classic design features, including exposed brick and flint walls, oak beams, vaulted ceilings and claw-footed baths. Two of the rooms interconnect for those staying with family or friends. Four-legged companions are welcomed in select rooms, with their own doggie bedtime package.

All rooms are equipped with ensuite bathrooms, flat-screen TVs, tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary spring water, Egyptian cotton bed linen and fluffy towels. Also, you won’t find any miniature plastic bottles in The Dog & Gun Inn bathrooms, just the finest refillable bath products.
