The Courtyard & The Hedgerow at Wainhill

The Hedgerow is a detached timber lodge with stunning views overlooking The Ridgeway National Trail and is the perfect country getaway for couples who want to enjoy a romantic and rural retreat in the heart of The Chilterns, yet are still within an hour of Central London.

Beautifully furnished and exceptionally comfortable The Hedgerow has its own kitchen, shower room with all singing and dancing shower cabin and separate bedroom off the living room with a brand-new Hypnos Kingsize bed. The lodge is ideal to use as a base to explore the Chilterns and all the many wonderful local attractions such as Oxford, Blenheim, Waddesdon Manor and Henley to name but a few.

With a separate driveway and private parking; walking and cycling straight onto The Ridgeway itself, it is the perfect place to come and enjoy an action packed holiday or just stop, relax and take in the beauty of the countryside surrounding The Hedgerow.  With the lodge comes the complimentary use of “Alice” my 1950’s vintage English Eccles caravan.  She provides the perfect space to just sit back and do absolutely nothing!

One, well behaved dog is welcome and we provide a dog bowl, bed, throw and towel (and home-made dog treats of course!).  There is a secure, well fenced private garden attached to The Hedgerow and dogs also have the use of our fenced garden too.  We would ask that your dog is kept on the lead outside of the gardens as we have livestock in the fields and paddocks.  From the back gates there is miles of wonderful walking directly onto the Ridgeway National Trail and many other Bridleways and Footpaths which all link up together.
