Old Forge Cottages

Old Forge Cottages are situated in the heart of the beautiful Norfolk Broads and provide a perfect base for exploring the many attractions of Norfolk, or just simply relaxing in the peace and tranquillity of the countryside all around.

This very special ‘hidden gem’ is set just outside a small village surrounded by fields, trees and a lovely array of wildlife including deer, fox, buzzards and many unusual birds. A perfect place to unwind from the stresses of everyday life. The area offers quiet roads and country lanes for walking and cycling.

Old Forge Cottages, were originally used as a working forge – In 2014 they were lovingly converted into three beautifully furnished, contemporary but traditional, single storey cottages
Smithy, Farriers and Anvil Cottages consist of three superb cottages surrounding a private walled courtyard. Each cottage can be hired individually or collectively for a group or family wishing to retain their privacy whilst holidaying together. They all have patios, barbeques and exquisite views.

Set in the heart of the Norfolk Broads 7.5 miles from the fine, historic  city of Norwich and a short drive to the sandy beaches of the east coast, Blofield Heath provides an ideal base for exploring the many attractions of Norfolk or simply relaxing in the peaceful countryside.
The area around Blofield offers quiet country lanes for walking and cycling. There are plenty of traditional country pubs with restaurants within convenient driving distance. Salhouse, Brundall and South Walsham Broads are nearby where you can launch or hire a boat, with the RSPB reserve at Strumpshaw Farm provinding a delight for walkers and nature lovers.
