Description
In the shadow of Glastonbury Tor, Middlewick offers a range of comfortable accommodation, self-catering cottages and glamping pods, and even a Shepherds Hut, sleeping from two to six with a total capacity of 50…
Middlewick is in a spectacular location in Somerset; sitting by the ancient oak trees Gog and Maggog which are thought to be the entrance to the ancient Isle of Avalon, and backing onto Glastonbury Tor. It has unrivalled views across the Somerset levels to Cheddar Gorge and the Mendip Hills. It is a peaceful and tranquil location in an area steeped in history, myth and legend. Nestled in a sixteen acre blend of gardens, horse paddocks and orchard, Middlewick is a wonderful place to relax, with the added bonus of a heated indoor swimming pool and steam room a well stocked farm shop. We have several dog friendly cottages: Springfield, Pippin, the Annex and Tor View.
You can walk directly up the Tor from Middlewick and then into Glastonbury itself! It is a very special route to take.
