Hodson’s House @ Breese Barn

Breese Barn is situated in the heart of Herefordshire’s glorious Golden Valley. Peacefully tucked away on the edge of the village of Dorstone and just 5 miles from the famous “booktown” of Hay-On-Wye, Breese Barns is ideally situated to explore this breathtaking part of the country. The Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons are on our doorstep and there are wonderful walking opportunities from the front door. Alternatively just kick back, relax and enjoy the seclusion, peace and tranquility this beautiful little corner of the world provides.

Hodsons House, is a self catering property in the grounds of Breese Barn. A real home away from home, Hodson’s House offers light and airy open plan living on the ground floor with a fully equipped kitchen featuring a large range cooker. The property has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, sleeping up to for guests. The ground floor bedroom can be made up as a twin or a double while the upstairs is a double.

Guests and their well behaved dogs have sole use of the large enclosed orchard which is accessed from the full height glass sliding doors that open out onto a secluded, furnished patio area directly from the large living space. There’s also a large firebowl that doubles as a BBQ for those long summer evenings.

Breese Barn also offers Bed and Breakfast accommodation in the main house.
