Description
Nestled down a remote lane on the side of a North Herefordshire hill, Herefordshire Hideaways offers three individual self-catering properties spread over seven acres of rolling countryside.
The Cabin, Corner House and The Wagon.Â
The Mosaic Cabin is an L-shaped, timber framed lodge at the end of a long driveway with beautiful views of rolling countryside. It has an open-plan design with exposed beams, underfloor heating and geometric textiles to give it a homely feel, a fully equipped kitchen, eating area, comfy sofas and a separate bathroom.
Play the piano or board games, get stuck into one of the books or venture out on to your private deck with its wood-fired hot tub and fire-pit with grill. After a long day of relaxation, it’s time to flop onto the comfy bed in the ‘L’ part of the cabin and gaze at the views through the floor to ceiling French doors.
The Corner House is a timber-framed, octagonal cabin at the top of a hill, designed to make the most of its views.
Its ‘hygge’ feel, with mid-century furniture, throws and cushions give it a cosy feel in the cooler months, but its light and airy design and floor to ceiling windows make it an ideal spot in the summer too. It has a well-equipped kitchen area, inside shower and outside composting toilet just a few paces away. Gaze at the stars through the huge skylight above your bed or take a dip in the sunken hot tub on your deck. The plan, is that there is no plan.
The Stargazers Wagon, originally a showman’s wagon, has been lovingly restored and converted into a luxurious space.
27 foot long, it offers a cosy living area, well-equipped kitchen with dining table and a full-sized double bed.  A decked area runs alongside the Wagon to the gas – powered shower and composting toilet. Throw open the double doors and enjoy the breath-taking, panoramic views of five counties. Or better still, open something fizzy, step into your private hot tub and relax…..
