Bought by newlyweds John and Christine Carter in 1952, Millets Farm was originally a 300 acre dairy farm. In 1975 Nigel and Tony Carter joined the family business to explore diversification opportunities and planted 6 acres of soft fruit. The summer of 1976 saw the launch of the PYO. The development of the Farm Shop then followed in 1978.
In 2020 guests visiting Millets Farm Centre can enjoy a large Farm Shop, Garden Centre, Restaurants, Animal Walkway, Play Area, Sprouts Indoor Playbarn, Woodland, Falconry Centre, Beauty Salon and much more!
The mix between family activities, home grown goodies served in the Farmhouse Kitchen Restaurant, and take-away deli options in the Farm Shop, means that family members from three to sixty three can enjoy a visit the Millets Farm Centre!
