The Paddock Farm Shop is a zero waste shop stocking a range of organic and local products, with minimal plastic packaging, a refill system for eco friendly household products and a plastic free pantry. The Paddock has been inspired by our family smallholding, named The Paddock, based on the beautiful Northumberland border.
The Paddock Farm Shop opened on 6th April 2016, stocking a fantastic range of local produce and organic wholefoods and has since become somewhat of a community hub within the village of High Spen. The first in the area to be considered “Zero Waste” – focusing on minimal packaging, eco friendly ethics and little to no plastic packaging, aiming for as little waste as possible.
Located only 5 minutes from The Paddock itself, The Paddock Farm Shop offers you a great selection of eco friendly, organic, locally sourced produce from around the region, some of which is produced at The Paddock’s smallholding, while the rest is sourced from trusted local suppliers. Through the shop, The Paddock team try’s to support as many small scale, local businesses as possible, whether that be veg growers, bee keepers, jam and chutney makers to soap makers.
