The Best beaches
If you are looking for wide, sandy, Blue Flag beaches and traditional coastal towns reaped in history … look no further than the North Norfolk Coast.Â
Some particular locations we would recommend are:Â
Wells Next The Sea – a port town with quay, independent shops and a wonderful sandy beach
Blakeney – Most famous for its seals, enjoy a boat trip from the port
Cromer – Famous for its Pier, and the only remaining traditional end-of-the-pier show. Cromer was a Victorian holiday destination, still offering the same charm to holidaymakers today.Â
Looking to the West Coast, for those looking for rugged landscape, wildlife & history spotting the Northumberland Coast is an ideal destination.Â

Bamburgh – The coastal parish of Bambrugh offers open, sweeping beaches, rocky shores and the great Bamburgh Castle.Â
Seahouses – offering regular boat trips to The Farne Islands, a seabird paradise, must known for their residents puffins.Â
Berwick upon Tweed – Englands most northernmost town, offering perfectly preserved Elizabethan fortifications.Â

The Best National Parks
The UK offers 15 National Parks each one unique and beautiful. We have whittled it down to our favourite two…Â
The Peak District is the most popular national park, being within a four house drive of 80% of the UK. Offering something for everyone, from walking the peaks, visiting stately homes to independent stores and eateries.Â
Some particular locations we would recommend are:
Bakewell – Known for its sweet treat namesake. The town holds a bustling outdoor market each week, medieval buildings to explore & just a stones throw form the famous Chatsworth House.Â
Hope Valley – a collection of the regions most picturesque villages. The area is home to renowned scenario such as Mam Tor, The Great Ridge & Winnats Pass Road.Â

With its rolling hills, glorious heathland, river valley and iconic white cliffs The South Downs National Park has inspired writers for centuries.Â

Chawton – The home of Jane Austen, Chawton is a delightful village where you can visit Jane Austen’s House, and enjoy the Jane Austen Self-guided walking tour.Â
Petersfield – An ancient market town, with a thriving community. Enjoy their twice weekly markets, annual music festival and independent eateries.Â

The Best City Breaks
We love York all year round, but for us there is nothing more special than visiting York during its Christmas Market.Â
Some particular activities we recommend during a trip to York are: York Minister or explore the York Dungeons, visit the National Railway Museum or take a stroll down The shambles, one of the best preserved medieval shopping street in Europe. Â

The city of Hereford has undergone extensive rejuvenation in recent years, offering vibrant and modern retail, leisure and eating facilities.Â
For those looking for history and culture, Hereford also offers a plethora of museums and historic buildings, including the Black & White Museum, Cider Museum & Hereford cathedral.Â
