Discover the history behind the highest waterfall in the UK.
This guided walk takes you on a journey of discovery up 90 Victorian Steps into our magical Victorian Fern Garden and onwards to the top of Lady Exmouth Waterfalls, where the panorama of the Devon countryside is at your feet. Throughout the walk, our experienced tour guide will take you through more than 200 years of English history, from the estate’s ownership, its mining heritage, and the Victorian love of plant collecting and garden design on an epic scale.
The guided walk will take approximately 1.5 hours and runs every Thursday and Sunday at 11.30 am and includes admission to the waterfall estate. Estate is open 7 days a week 10 am – 4 pm for normal asmiassion.

The ticket price includes full-day admission to the estate, allowing you to make a day of it and explore the entire 90 acres at your leisure.
Dogs are welcome on leads.
Requirements and Accessibility: Please note that a certain level of fitness is required to walk the waterfall walk. The steps to the Fern garden are steep and uneven.
Sturdy walking shoes are required, along with weather-appropriate clothing.
We welcome walking poles.
