Description
Fern Howe Guest House is situated within the picturesque village of Braithwaite, near Keswick, in the beautiful Lake District National Park.
Fern Howe is set in the perfect location for families, cyclists, walkers, photographers and artists alike, with the vast array of local attractions on offer. Produce is locally sourced and free-range wherever possible, as we are very passionate about supporting local businesses. We also pride ourselves on excellent customer service, as we want your stay to the northern Lakes to be as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
Due to the elevated position of the property within the village, most guest rooms have views out to the fells of Skiddaw, Latrigg and Blencathra, with the remaining rooms having  views out to Fern Howe’s hillside garden and six-acre red squirrel protected woodland, with the addition of one courtyard garden room.
We have a range of rooms to suit a range of guests, including super king, double, twin, single and family rooms, all of which have en-suite bathrooms. There is also on-site parking for all guests.
Fern Howe contains a relaxing guest lounge area, providing complimentary cake and tea/coffee making facilities. There is also a selection of books and games for  guest use. In addition, we have an outdoor seating area, where guests can sit and admire the view over the fells, whilst perhaps enjoying a drink, whilst sampling some complimentary cake!
