Assynt House sleeps 14 plus cots, each bedroom is individually designed so everyone will stay in comfort. The house holds much history, and was once host to President Roosevelt and his wife Eleanor during their honeymoon tour of Scotland.
Assynt House is in an enviable location to explore the Highlands and Islands. Guests can use the house as a base to explore as much or as little of the area as they wish, Surrounded by beautiful Ross-shire countryside and overlooking the Cromarty Firth and over to The Black Isle. Guests can enjoy day trips to Aviemore and the Cairngorms, Caithness and Sutherland, the West Coast of Scotland and the gentle shores of Loch Ness. Beaches are plentiful as are lush green landscapes, waterfalls, challenging hills and mountains. Fryish Monument sits high looking down at Assynt House and  gardens and a few minutes walk up the road you will see the majestic Ben Wyvis and further, the serene Loch Glass or the exceptional Black Rock Gorge, just a short stroll from the house.
