Stainsborough Hall Self-Catering Cottage

The holiday properties at Stainsborough Hall provide an idyllic country get-away for the whole family. Located on the shores of Carsington Water, with direct access to the traffic-free trail around the reservoir, Stainsborough Hall and its cottages are an ideal base for walkers, cyclists and holiday makerslooking to take advantage of the many local attractions and stunning scenery.  

​There are four cottages – Henmore, Lathkill, Dovedale and Derwent – with a total of 10 bedrooms located around a courtyard and private terrace areas to the rear.
When all of the cottages are booked together – access and use of a large fifth cottage is included which has a table for 20 people, a comfy living area with log burner for groups to gather together, an additional kitchen and bathroom. 

There is also a private tennis court that guests can use and a games room with a table tennis table and room to relax.  The cottages can be rented individually as two or three-bedroom properties or you can rent them together for large parties.

​The characterful cottages sit at the end of a long private drive away from traffic and have recently undergone extensive renovations.  Each cottage now provides comfortable accommodation with all modern conveniences.

​Stainsborough Hall and it’s cottages are set in 15 acres of beautiful gardens and countryside. The surrounding farmland is home to sheep, horses and a wide range of local wildlife.
