Nant Awen Retreats

Nant Awen is the ideal retreat for two, located in the heart of Mid Wales, nestled in its own secluded valley.

The two properties date back to the 19th century, undergoing recent renovation in 201, Y Stabl (the Stable) and Y Capel (the chapel) are both the perfect blend of contemporary and original rustic features, creating luxury, boutique boltholes for two guests.

Nant Awen is the ideal retreat for two, where guests can spend the days relaxing alongside the mountain stream that flows right outside the front door or walking the local nature trails that open out to stunning panoramic views of the welsh countryside. Unwind by spending the evening’s cwtched in front of the wood burner, or gazing up at the stars from the secluded, private hot tub, one for each of the cottages.

 Ideally located in the centre of Mid Wales, guests can explore by foot, on many of the nearby by footpath, or on one of the numerous cycling trails in the area like the Elan Valley trail.
There is also a abundance of castles to visit. Powis Castle “just down the road” is a grand stately home and medieval castle with kept gardens and more rugged estate land, home to its own herd of deer.
