Description
We are delighted to welcome you to Granny House. We shall try to ensure that Granny House will continue to be the haven of comfort and luxury that it always has been. There are of course changes to how we now need to operate in order to keep our guests and ourselves safe, so to prepare Granny House for you, it will be treated to an enhanced anti viral cleaning routine inbetween each booking.
Recently refurbished, Granny House in Bell Busk is a self catering holiday cottage on the Pennine Way. We welcome up to 6 people. You will find the best of the traditional with the best of the modern. Quintessentially English, you will be staying in a gorgeous 400 year old farmhouse (a Yorkshire laithe) on the old pack horse route between Skipton and Settle on the Southern edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park near Malham in Malhamdale.
You will enjoy luxurious, spacious, characterful and comfortable accommodation with panoramic pastoral views. If the sun is shining in Bell Busk it will shine on Granny House from sunrise until sunset. Granny House has become a popular location for gatherings of families, friends and honeymoons.
This is tranquility realised, you will love it from the moment you arrive, a stylish hidden gem, a retreat that will leave you feeling rested, happier and healthier. It is a paradise for nature lovers, outdoor enthusiasts and gardeners. Stay here and borrow the bat detector, ask us to show you the workings of the Harrison church clock or help us make cider in the autumn. With the dark sky designation, it is possible to see the Aurora during solar flares in the Spring and the Autumn. For walkers and cyclists, the Pennine way and cycle route 68 are just down the lane. This is farming country and England at its best. The country side is beautiful and uncrowded. Granny House is ideally located with easy access onto fast roads or country lanes.
